On 25 September 2026, the MAINHOME SOLUTION (MM2H) team attended the 14th MM2H National Workshop, organised by the Malaysia My Second Home Consultants Association (MM2HCA). MM2HCA’s annual flagship event aims to raise the professionalism and operational standards of licensed MM2H agencies.

The workshop opened with welcome remarks by MM2HCA President Mr. Anthony Liew Yong Huat, followed by a keynote address from the Guest of Honour, YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture. He then led a ministerial engagement session with industry players on the programme’s direction and challenges.

The day’s programme covered:

  • Updates from key agencies: OSC MM2H, MOTAC Licensing and Enforcement Division, and Tourism Malaysia
  • Stakeholder sessions: estate planning for foreigners, safety and crime prevention, international education, medical tourism, and tax implications for MM2H participants
  • MM2H operational refresher: OSC MM2H and MM2HCA
  • Corporate presentations: Resorts World Genting, HSBC, RHB and other partners

Officers from the Immigration Department of Malaysia also briefed participants on relevant procedures and took questions from the floor.
